New announcement! Pearson Longman Schools, Shanghai
Pearson Longman Schools, Shanghai, need 60 new teachers by the end of the year, some starting in April and May/June 2009. Applicants MUST be native English speakers. Phone interview. Qualified applicants will be be assisted to get visas.
Our full time contract requires teachers to work 5 days per week ... weekends ARE REQUIRED. The total teaching/admin hours will be around 88 hours per month. This may change as we are rewriting the contract. The salary is 10,000 RMB per month + 6000 RMB completion bonus as well as 300 RMB monthly travel allowance. Any hours over the 88 wil be paid at 150 RMB per hour. ALL wages are taxable and there is no housing allowance.
We will need you to start no later than July 1st., or after Sept 1st. If you accept the job we will arrange to get you the visa in your home country. We have 14 locations in Shanghai, with an additional eight new locations by years end, ALL of which are no more than 15 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Currently we have no health insurance programme, but we intend to get a plan in place in the near future.
